ACTIVITIES COMMITTEE

Develops, promotes, supports, and oversees the Lodge’s activities and special events.

AMERICANISM

To quicken the awareness and spirit of American Patriotism at the Lodge.

AUDITING & ACCOUNTING

The Lodge Auditing and Accounting Committee oversees the policies and procedures that help ensure the financial integrity and strength of the Lodge.

BAR & FOOD COMMITTEE

To oversee the restaurant and bar operations, financial performance, food quality, and service.

BUILDING COMMITTEE, PHASE II

To plan, supervise, and monitor all building projects and activities.

Charity Committee

To build a stronger Pasadena community by supporting local programs and charities that support youth, serve veterans and meet needs in areas where Elks live and work.

CHEA (California-Hawaii Elks) Major Project *Purple Pig*

To address the unmet needs of children with disabilities throughout the states of California and Hawaii by providing necessary services at no cost.

Drug Awareness

To teach all children and parents about the dangers of illegal drug use and prevent the abuse of legalized and prescription drugs.

Finance Committee

To oversee the financial and investment activities of the Lodge.

Flag Day

To honor our country’s flag, to celebrate its origination, and honor its journey as part of our nation’s history.

Fraternal Committee

To promote, support and oversee programs related to the Elks National Foundation and veteran’s programs.

Gaming-Billiards Committee

To organize a team in the American PoolPlayers Association and maintain the billiards equipment.

Government Relations

To develop a “grassroots” network of informed members throughout California and Hawaii who will be responsive to calls for assistance in combating all matters adverse to the Order of Elks on a national, state, or local level.

Hoop Shoot

To promote and manage the basketball free throw program for youth ages 8-13.

Internship Committee

To recruit, select, and manage high school and college student interns tasked with completing important Lodge projects.

Lodge Activities

To develop and successfully execute a balanced program of the Lodge.

Membership

To recruit and interview qualified candidates, orient them to the Elks and initiate them in the organization.

New Years Committee

To plan the New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day’s activities.

Non-Elk Activities

To approve and oversee non-Elk activities at the Lodge.

Public Relations

To market, publicize, and promote the activities of the Lodge via newsletters, social media, website, etc.

Rambling Roses

To organize monthly member RV road trips.

Scholarships

To promote, review, and award local and national scholarships to qualified students.

Standing Relief

To evaluate the merits of all aid proposals and award funds accordingly.

Tournament of Roses

To oversee and manage interactions with the Tournament of Roses related to Lodge property and the New Year’s Day Parade.

Venue Rentals & Bookings

To market the Lodge as a venue for special events, manage bookings, and ensure their successful execution.

Veterans Service

To manage the Welcome Home Initiative, and help veterans rehabilitate and thrive through adaptive sports and therapy kits.

Youth Activities / Sports

To assist boys and girls to become patriotic, capable and law-abiding citizens, through youth activities and sports.
